I officially started Hisart Publishing in 1994.  It has seen many changes, but the main reason for being here hasn't changed.  God had a plan for me, which I didn't know about until I had lost almost everything to bad decisions, bad directions, and an ego that had gotten so big, I thought I could do anything but quickly and quite catastrophically found that I couldn't.  

After several years of trying to stand up and meet the day again, still thinking  my life had become simply irrelevant, I was sitting at my desk one day, had a few minutes of downtime, and started doodling on a calendar.  The doodles were in color and my coworkers began noticing my rather crazy designs and the word spread about the calendar.  People wanted to buy my page or wanted me to do a doodle for them.  I did names, and sayings, and started doing a few drawings for Christmas cards.  After a couple of years, I decided, or actually God decided, that I would design Christian posters in a bright, colorful format which I soon found out that kids really thought they were cool.

Today some of my rather contemporary art is helping support the Pink Pajama Traveling Club Foundation as it fulfills the wishes of women who are in various stages of cancer, in some cases, even fighting for their lives.   You can learn more about this on our "Love Won Another" page.
