What Is a Giclee?

Regular Print or Giclee?

First of all, do you want it to last for a long time or do you want something temporary?  Prints are an excellent and affordable way to go for three or four years.  A giclee can last a lifetime.  Plus, a giclee is almost an exact duplicate of the original printed on very high quality fine art paper or on canvass.  Some artists have been fooled by not being able to tell the difference in what they created and the giclee.   Giclée printing is done with pigment-based inks with excellent resistance to fading and degradation. Acid-free archival-quality paper (or canvas) is favored, ensuring the inks won't break down and the image will retain its impressive definition for many years to come.   All of our designs are available for giclee printing.

If You Choose to Order a Giclee . . .

We use the highest quality art paper to insure you that the pigment-based inks will have a happy and lasting home.  Our stretched canvas is wrapped around, and again we only use the highest quality canvas available.
